We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Business Partner to support a dedicated team of over 100 professional employees. This role is crucial for our site's success, acting as a trusted advisor to management and employees alike. As the HR Business Partner, you'll be responsible to provide expert guidance and support on all people-related matters. This includes talent management, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development, all while ensuring alignment with the company's objectives. and driving key HR initiatives to help our teams thrive.
Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, providing consultation and support to management and employees. Act as a strategic partner to the site's management team, providing advice, counsel, and direction on business issues that impact employees and organizational effectiveness. You will also provide coaching to managers and supervisors on performance development and corrective action. Promote and provide guidance on performance management program. Ensure consistent application of all company policies and procedures related to recruitment, compensation & benefits, rewards and recognition and talent development. You will also manage the rollout of corporate HR programs, such as compensation and benefits policies, performance management & development and employee surveys. Conduct internal investigations into employee misconduct, including gathering evidence, interviewing involved parties, and consulting with legal counsel. You'll make recommendations and document your findings thoroughly. Partner with site leadership to implement organizational changes. You'll also conduct ongoing assessments of skill competencies, knowledge, and talent needs. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Strong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and apply absolute discretion to all matters given managing highly sensitive information Proven ability to act as a team player in a collaborative environment Initiative and willingness to tackle new challenges Outstanding organization skills required Multitasking abilities are an absolute must A keen attention to detail In-depth knowledge of government regulations and extensive knowledge of labor laws. Experience with HRIS systems. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers. Ability to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities, and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects. Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio. Ability to effectively organize and motivate team members with a diverse group of skill sets. Physical Demands Duties of this position are generally performed in good working conditions. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required. Typical Experience 7+ years relevant experience. Professional Designation; Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or HR Certification Institute (HRCI) is required. Typical Education Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational requirements may vary by geography.
