HR Business Partner
We have an outstanding Contract position for anHR Business Partnerto join a leading Company located in theColumbia, MDsurrounding area. Salary: 80k -95K Job Responsibilities: + Work with assigned client groups in support of selecting, aligning, and growing top talent. + Responsible for wide range of HR including but not limited to the recruitment, performance, organizational development and talent strategy, lifecycle events, separations, and realignment. + Connect regularly with business function leaders to understand current state of the workforce and identify future needs. + Maintain knowledge of HR policies and procedures. + Provide information and general support to employees and managers. + Initiate exploratory meetings for new positions, including replacements/backfills and new roles. + Create and revise position descriptions for competitive market pricing. + Drive the recruitment efforts with support of the Recruiter. + Interview candidates and lead debriefs. + Coordinate new hire offer packages with the Recruiter. + Assist with new employee onboarding. + Promptly investigate complaints/issues and make recommendations resolution. + Partner with managers on development strategies for employees. + Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to make recommendations to management for corrective action and continuous improvement. + Coach managers and employees on compensation philosophy and provide updates to various aspects of the performance and compensation + Initiate documentation for changes to employee records. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for aspects of employment. + Administer human resources policies, procedures, and programs, as needed. + Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Basic Hiring Criteria: + Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration or related field. + Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience specializing in employee relations.
