Description We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to leadership teams and employees across multiple locations. This is a Contract position based in San Diego, California, offering an opportunity to provide impactful HR solutions while fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR best practices, compliance, and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a strategic HR advisor to leadership teams, offering guidance on workforce planning and people-focused solutions.
• Provide personalized HR support by visiting various facilities as required to address location-specific needs.
• Offer coaching and advice to managers and employees on HR policies, performance management, and change management strategies.
• Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
• Address and resolve employee relations issues, facilitating conflict resolution in a fair and confidential manner.
• Conduct thorough investigations into escalated employee concerns, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to employment laws, labor regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
• Review compliance metrics regularly and assist management in implementing corrective actions to address any gaps.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for new hires into the organization.
• Travel as needed to provide on-site HR support at skilled nursing facilities and other locations. Requirements
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR advisory role 5-10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and HR compliance standards.
• Proficiency with HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now.
• Expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees and leadership.
• Familiarity with HR functions such as performance management, recruiting, training, and benefits administration.
• Ability to manage change and drive organizational initiatives effectively.
• Willingness to travel as needed to provide in-person support at various locations.
