Due to expansion into new markets, an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our team based in Maidstone, Melbourne with some travel to Dandenong South site required. You'll be supporting an employee group of approx. 150 people with a mix of both corporate and operational team members.


Reporting to the Senior HRBP, Oceania, you'll play a pivotal role in integrating a proud, Australian made business into the broader Prysmian ecosystem, supporting the change journey and being the site contact point for all HR related topics.

We seek a driven and motivated self-starter with demonstrated experience to:

Coach team leaders in effective recruitment, performance management, team feedback and coaching, and handling of industrial relations issues, disciplinary and grievance processes (including investigations as required)Lead implementation of cyclical people management processes (e.g. annual remuneration reviews, performance planning and reviews, onboarding, offboarding, etc.) to optimize rigor and impactIdentify and track relevant people metrics to gauge health of designated areas and identify corrective actionsDevelop and maintain positive Employee stakeholder group relationships including, Union and site Representative Committee collaborationLead people components of major organizational change (e.g. automation) to deliver growth and efficiencies in designated BU/FunctionsCollaborate with HR Business Partners to develop, implement and maintain a Recruitment Strategy in alignment with business objectivesEmbodies Prysmian Values of Trust, Drive and Simplicity. Promotes continuous improvement in safety behaviors and outcomes  Lead and set the tone for a developing a high-performing, accountable, dynamic and values-based team focused on achieving business goals and realizing the Prysmian purpose, vision and strategyAdds value to the OSEA HR function by sharing emerging trends, identifying and implementing initiatives to lift capability, systems and processes, and evolving policies and processes in line with changing business demands, company culture and values (including leveraging use of technology)Contributes to, and lead, Australian projects as defined by relevant HR Local/Regional Director to create a positive people experience and seamless people practices, processes and policies that scale with change (e.g. onboarding, capability development, standard setting, etc.)Support the HR team in provision of services as required across Prysmian.

Ideally, you'll possess a positive attitude and some if not all of the below:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, Business or Organizational Development or related disciplineSpecialized training in HR domains, including some or all of; industrial relations, total rewards, organizational design, workforce planning, recruitment, leadership and talent management, culture and change managementActive affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations
