Are you passionate about Human Resources and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic industrial environment? Forvia's Chattanooga plant is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HR Business Partner to support our HR Manager in day-to-day HR management, ensuring compliance with our Group's human resources policies and procedures.
Your profile and competencies to succeedKey Responsibilities:
Personnel Administration: Assist the HR Manager in implementing and following up on group HR policies, staffing issues, and industrial relations.
Action Plans: Propose and participate in the deployment of action plans.
Reporting: Collect information and prepare reports in line with Group HR policies for month-end figures and follow-up indicators.
Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with labor laws.
Employee Administration: Manage personal files, employee documentation, and respect segregation of duties according to ICB requirements.
Payroll: Assist in weekly payroll duties, ensuring accurate timekeeping and processing relevant data (overtime, absenteeism, holidays, etc.).
Onboarding: Conduct new hire enrollments and onboarding.
Training: Track training data for all departments and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
Benefits Administration: Administer company benefits plan.
Business Partner: Act as a business partner to shop floor teams, advising and coaching supervisors, and managing social committee and events.
HR Correspondence: Prepare HR correspondence and plant communications.
Health & Safety: Participate in training or Health Safety & Environment (HSE) issues if necessary.
Other Initiatives: Support other HR initiatives as assigned by the Site HR Manager or Site Plant Manager.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the HR function within an industrial environment.
Skills & Competencies:
Good knowledge of employment law
Familiarity with HR information and payroll systems
International mindset
Results orientation
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient in English
