Job Scope :
Do you enjoy a collaborative environment working with multiple departments? As a member of the HR team, the HR Business Partner directs and coordinates human resources activities and recruiting by performing the following duties personally or through HR associates, with the objective of attracting, retaining and engaging the best associates. This position is focused on recruiting for Exempt and Non-Exempt population of corporate office and warehouse associates, also performing employee relations duties specifically for Operations as an extension of that leadership team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Recruits, interviews and selects employees to fill non-exempt & exempt level positions throughout the organization.Negotiates offers and prepares new hires for work.Analyzes wage and salary reports and data, internally and externally, to determine competitive compensation plans.Helps revise and develop company policies and communicates those to employees.Collaborates with Masco HR and legal to ensure that policies and any escalated employee issues follow federal and state laws. Assists in litigation matters.Investigates, documents, reports and resolves employee grievances.Helps with talent decisions such as hires, promotions, transfers, evaluations, and terminations.Assists with preparation of employee separation notices and related documentation.Represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations.Manages various HR projects and initiatives as needed.Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services and works with Procurement to negotiate temporary agency services and rates.Provides timely service to internal and external customers professionally and with required discretion.Respects co-workers and fosters atmosphere of teamwork. Serves as role model for HR associates and among peers.Creatively considers ways to increase efficiency, contain cost, and make improvements on a continual basis.Establishes and maintains positive employee relations.Qualifications
