Job Title: HR Benefits Systems Analyst
SUMMARY:
Interacts with HR leadership, IT, and Finance to facilitate the identification, definition, and prioritization of new or revised benefits-related IT system requests. Ensures accuracy and maintenance of existing benefit systems

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates benefit systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and audit systems to parallel overall benefit strategies. Troubleshoots employee pay and benefit issues; researches and provide fixes within HCM system to bring issues into resolutionPerforms system edits to ensure eligible benefit elects are intact for any status changes (e.g. terminations, severances, etc.)Optimizes benefit systems business processes to increase speed of service delivery of benefit programs (e.g. tuition reimbursement, voluntary benefits) Stays abreast of regulations impacting employee benefits, e.g., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and Health Care Reform. Functions as a resource for billing and customer inquiriesMonitors, researches and coordinates adjustments/corrections of outgoing vendor files Conducts audits to ensure accuracy of employee records Understands risks and uses appropriate judgment when executing auditsDemonstrates experience working with databases Assists in ACA tracking to ensure compliance of Federal regulationsManages ACA premium billing for employees in arrearsReviews and reconciles invoices Ad Hoc reporting Performs other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Three to five years of benefits administration experience.Human Resources and computer knowledge required along with effective communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as needed.Attention to detail is critical.EDUCATION:

14617The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
