Duties and responsibilities
Performs all payroll functions in conformity with the procedures and instituted internal Audit guidelines and company policies.Ensures that all overtime, change shifts and leaves are approved by respective supervisors and managers, and should be reflected in submitted timesheets.
Maintains a database of received timesheets as well as noted various issues and concerns on timesheets and leave forms requiring correction or verification with R&F superiors.
Ensures accurate and timely encoding in SAP of R&F employees’ work schedule in shifts, leaves, and overtime hours by checking the timesheets processed by Prosync every cut off period. Handles timely reconciliation and coordination with Prosync in case of inconsistency.
Ensures timely and systematic filing of time sheets, and leave forms, both in hardcopy and electronic mediums. Ensures fast retrieval of documents when required.
Prepares and issues advices to HRMD Payroll for salary payout adjustments related to shifting allowance, hazard pay for chemist and chemical technicians, manual adjustments of overtime of direct-hired employees, and perfect attendance as well as deductions for BRC Rentals and Peninsula Club, PPP Housing Rental, and Mortuary Assistance of BRUP.
Handles timely sorting and distribution of NMPT pay slips.
Ensures timely submission of BIR 2316 of new hires with previous employer within 60 days from entry date to HRMD Payroll, in coordination with HR BPs.
Releases announcement and facilitates release and return of signed BIR 2316 from previous year of all employees every start of the year.
Facilitates inquiries and availment of company loans, SLHOP loan/withdrawal/housing loan and HSBC/BOC Bank loans. Performs the HR Business Partner role that covers day-to-day front-facing interactions with customers and provides overall support and assistance to their respective accounts. Functions include but are not limited to recruitment and hiring activities, payroll and benefits items, appraisals and other records management functions, and ER/LR-related activities.
Qualifications:
Preferably with a degree in Psychology, Behavioral or Social Science or Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics or equivalent field Computer Literate (knowledgeable in MS Office Applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Forms, and MS Powerpoint with knowledge in Labor Code and government-mandated benefits
