Description A well-established government entity in Encinitas, CA, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HR Analyst to join their human resources team. This role provides a vital opportunity to make a meaningful impact on public service by supporting HR functions with analytical expertise and maintaining compliance within organizational operations. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct research, data analysis, and reporting to support HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compensation. + Maintain and ensure accuracy of human resources information systems (HRIS) and related records. + Collaborate with department heads to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. + Analyze workforce data trends, creating reports to guide strategic decision-making. + Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs. + Support full-cycle recruitment for government positions, including job postings, applicant screening, and onboarding. + Act as a liaison for employee relations, providing advice and assisting with conflict resolution as needed. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field. + 4+ years of HR experience, ideally with a background in analysis or research-based roles. + Familiarity with government operations and policies is highly desirable. + Proficiency in HRIS systems, Excel, and other data analysis/reporting tools. + In-depth knowledge of labor laws, workplace compliance, and equal employment opportunity (EEO) standards. + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
