We’re looking for a HR Analyst to play a key role in supporting our Lead People Partner and Senior People Partners, with a focus on delivering high-quality HR operations and project support to our prestigious Reinsurance practice. Based in our London office three days a week, this hybrid role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in HR, excellent communication and project management skills, and confidence working with Excel and Microsoft tools. What the day will look like As a key member of the Reinsurance Solutions UK People Partnering team, the HR Analyst will firstly provide analytical, operational, and project support to a team of four People Partners. In addition, there is a need to support business stakeholders directly, handling first-line questions from the outset, with a path to a People Partner role. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with a relational, open-minded, and solution-focused approach. You will play a vital role in enabling data-driven decision-making, enhancing the colleague experience, and supporting the delivery of the people strategy across the Reinsurance business. Some Key Responsibilities include: Data & Insights + Maintain and develop HR dashboards and trackers (e.g., headcount, attrition, performance, engagement). + Develop, collate and analyse people data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to People Partners and business leaders. + Support the preparation of reports and presentations for leadership and HR forums. People Process Support + Coordinate and support cyclical HR processes including performance management, talent reviews, engagement surveys, and reward cycles. + Partner with the Centres of Excellence to ensure accurate and timely execution of HR initiatives. Operational Excellence + Act as a first point of contact for HR queries from managers and colleagues, ensuring accurate guidance and timely resolution. + Support the team in managing Workday transactions and troubleshooting system issues. + Draft HR communications and documentation (e.g., letters, guides, presentations). Collaboration & Relationship Building + Build strong working relationships with People Partners, Centres of Excellence, and business stakeholders. + Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture, supporting continuous improvement and innovation in delivery of HR solutions to our business. Skills and experience that will lead to success + Proven experience in an HR support or analyst role, ideally within a professional or financial services environment. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), PowerPoint, and HR systems (Aon uses Workday, so experience with that system is desirable). This is a fast-paced environment that demands excellent communication (particularly within our own team) and strong interpersonal skills. It also means that you will need to be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. We’re looking for a proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset.
