The HR Advisor US is responsible for working as part of the global HR team alongside other HR Advisors You will provide support to Abcam associates throughout their entire employee journey, as well as contributing to evolving HR policy and supporting in the delivery of ad hoc employee relations related projects.
This position reports to the Director of Employee Relationship & HR Policy and is part of the Human Resources Team located in Waltham, MA and will be an on-site role. At Abcam, our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Act as a reference point and a supportive and consistent contact for associates throughout their whole journey within AbcamProvide specialist advice to managers and employees on all employee relations issues, managing associated case work and supporting the delivery of ER related projects across the US sites.Conduct induction, onboarding, regular check-ins and exit interviews to inform and improve the associate experience and engagementRegularly review, update and improve Abcam HR policiesProvide support to the HRBPs and HRDs as required and work in collaboration with the global HR operations teamThe essential requirements of the job include:
BA or BSc Degree and 5+ years of HR experience with 2+ years of ER case workKnowledge of US HR policies, procedures and best practice together with the ability to work with associates at all levelsPrevious experience in an HR role and understanding of the value and impact of good ER policy and practiceAbility to work with functional groups and different levels of employees to achieve results ethically, effectively and professionallyAbility to advise on local cultural business norms and behaviorTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
