The Client:
A leading independent girls' school who pride themselves on their hard work, strong values and exceptional achievements. They are looking for a dynamic, professional and personable HR Advisor to support with the smooth running of the school.

About the HR Advisor role:

This is a generalist HR role with a breadth of responsibilities and the opportunity for development. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Provide HR advice, guidance and support by responding promptly and accurately to enquiries and resolving all matters on HR processes and proceduresTo work closely with the Bursar and HR Administrator to provide a coherent and consistent HR support across the College and PrepContribute to the continuous improvement of the HR system Monitor absencesMaintain appraisal records on the HR systemAdvise line managers on performance management processes and ensure all staff receive an effective, annual performance review documentationRegular maintenance and organisation of office filing systems, retaining documents, correspondence and other records in line with HR and GDPR proceduresParticipate in training and development activities and programmes and attend and participate in meetings as requiredPerform any other duties as requested by the Bursar as commensurate with the post

Required Experience & Skills:

Experience of handling complex employee relation matters fairly and confidentlyApproachable with excellent people skillsPart or full CIPD qualification desirableStrong customer/client service skillsProfessional communication across a range of stakeholders and the ability to work with discretion when managing highly confidential informationTeam-orientated and also comfortable working autonomouslyStrong organisation and time management skillsCompetent Microsoft Office skills.
