About this RoleThe HR Administrator role at Ampacity presents an exciting opportunity for an entry-level candidate to dive into the dynamic field of Human Resources. You will support our HR department across critical functions including recruitment, HR operations, workers' compensation administration, and training/compliance. You’d directly report to the Talent Acquisition & People Operations Manager and collaborate closely with our passionate HR team (6), this role offers a unique chance to learn and gain hands-on experience in all facets of HR.
Pay Range: $23-$27/hr
What You'll Do Facilitate pre-employment processes such as drug screenings and background check, PPE and IT equipment order requests.Lead new hire orientation and ensure timely completion of onboarding activities, fostering a seamless transition for new employees.Maintain employee records, processing documentation related to new hires and terminations, and handling HR inquiries.Assist in benefits administration tasks such as enrollment, changes, and terminations.Ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws and regulations, including tracking Registered Apprentice Program (RAP) hours and registrations.Assist Spanish-speaking employees with non-claims and incident-related matters related to workers' compensationAssist Employee Relations Partner with maintaining training records and ensure compliance with training requirements.Coordinate team building activities and events and manage the procurement and distribution of employee swag and recognition items.Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with policies and procedures.This role will evolve over time. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred. No degree is also acceptable.At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity. Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).Demonstrates professional integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.Comfortable communicating with employees at all levels and in group settings.Travel required approximately 20% to job sites, with potential variation due to weather and job locations.
