HR Administrative Assistant
Transdev in Las Vegas, Paratransit Team is hiring a highly professional HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a high level of discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to interact professionally with employees, management, customers, and external partners. This role supports a high-volume HR department and requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The HR Assistant will also provide clerical and administrative support to other managers within the organization as needed. Transdev is proud to offer: HR Administrative Assistant Competitive compensation package of minimum: $21.00 to maximum $24.00 Benefits include: + Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks + Sick days: 5 Days + Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating + Other benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, voluntary short-term disability and voluntary long-term disability Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support & Communication + Answer incoming phone calls and redirect them to the appropriate person or department. + Great visitors, direct them to the appropriate person or department, provide information + Schedule appointments and meetings for management; prepare agendas, send meeting invites, and follow up on action items. + Receives, data stamps and distributes incoming mail, assists in preparing large mailings as necessary. + Provide clerical and administrative support to other managers within the organization. + Send out certified mail for final checks, employee notices, and other HR correspondence. + Coordinate with Safety to ensure reception coverage by a light-duty employee while performing HR filing tasks. + Organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information + Photocopying, scanning and printing various documents. + Enters, retrieves, updates, and verifies information from electronic files. + Operates standard office equipment. Lost & Found Coordination + Track, store, and return lost & found items in accordance with company policies. Employee Records & Documentation + Create and maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files. + File all HR paperwork promptly and accurately. + Prepare personnel files for new hires and ensure I-9 compliance. + Receive and document benefit premium payments for employees on LOA/FMLA. Recruitment & Employee Relations Support + Schedule interviews for operators and other job requisitions. + Schedule employee relations meetings between employees and HR. Data Tracking & Compliance + Update Intermittent FMLA absences in the attendance tracker under HR supervision. + Perform clerical and administrative tasks according to contractual and legal mandates. Other Duties + Assist with special HR projects as assigned. + Maintain confidentiality of all employee and company information. + Performs related work as required. Qualifications: + Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. + 1–2 years of administrative or HR support experience in a professional environment. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of professionalism. + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). + Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Strong customer service skills when interacting with employees, customers, and external contacts.
