Description We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Admin to join our team in Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential human resources functions, ensuring smooth onboarding processes and effective employee communication. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Process I-9 forms and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Utilize HR systems, including Paylocity, to input and maintain employee records.
• Handle intake procedures and gather required information for new employees.
• Communicate with staff members to address inquiries and provide support during onboarding.
• Coordinate paperwork and administrative tasks to facilitate seamless entry into the organization.
• Maintain organized records of employee information and onboarding documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations related to HR functions.
• Support employee relations efforts by addressing questions and resolving minor concerns.
• Assist in general office administration tasks as needed. Requirements • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with employees and team members.
• Familiarity with employee relations and the ability to address basic HR concerns.
• Knowledge of I-9 compliance regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in performing office functions and administrative tasks.
• Experience with onboarding processes, including managing documentation and employee intake.
• Ability to learn and adapt to HR systems, such as Paylocity.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
