The purpose of this position is to "seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion.” The Elevator Mechanic reports to the Elevator Mechanic Supervisor. The role’s main responsibility is to ensure that church-owned elevators, escalators, and other units assigned are maintained and operate safely and at optimum performance levels. This position also ensures that the work is done in a timely manner that meets division commitments. The Elevator mechanic may also have opportunities to lead and train Elevator Apprentices. 

Pay range for this position will be: $50.00 - $57.00/hr depending on experience and education.
