Adult Community Support Services (CSS) CSS offers a variety of supports to adults over the age of 18, living in Burlington County, and diagnosed with a serious mental illness to increase independence and live successfully in the community. CSS offers mental health rehabilitation and support services that assist individuals with the skills necessary to achieve their wellness and recovery goals. Services include skill building, education/employment assistance, service linkages, advocacy, peer support services, and housing assistance. Demonstrates the knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. Responsible for administration of various rental subsidy programs (DMHAS, HUD, DCA, Section 8) including, but not limited to, file maintenance, building landlord relationships, providing tenant orientations, maintaining data on housing stock, monthly housing inspections and acting as liaison with tenant/landlord and Supportive Housing Connections. Provides housing and rental education to staff and consumers. Will provide in-person support services as needed and indicated by program contract commitments and needs. Assists with program development, implementation, and evaluation. Annual performance reporting for HUD contracts as required. Attend Continuum of Care and State-level housing meetings. Carries a small caseload to assist the department.
