Description
We are looking for a dedicated Housing Supervisor. This contract-to-permanent position involves supporting unhoused clientele with secured housing in the greater Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational abilities, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality administrative support. Previous experience supporting section 8 or low-income housing is a must.
Responsibilities:
• Provide daily administrative support to ensure smooth program operations, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
• Coordinate communication efforts between team members, landlords, and program participants to maintain clarity and efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining and updating internal resources, such as housing lists and program documentation.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, both internal and external, ensuring all concerns are addressed professionally.
• Facilitate onboarding and training processes for new staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources.
• Organize and track program data, including participant records and financial assistance requests, for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Support leadership in planning and executing events designed to engage landlords and promote housing solutions.
• Act as a liaison between the program team and community partners to strengthen collaborative efforts.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to discussions aimed at improving program delivery.
• Manage incoming calls and emails with professionalism, directing them to the appropriate channels.
Requirements • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within housing or social services programs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in scheduling, calendar management, and coordination of meetings.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Familiarity with housing navigation practices or services requiring specialized expertise is a plus.
