This role ensures eligible families receive rental assistance and that program requirements are met through accurate and timely processing. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret and apply federal housing regulations in daily operations. THIS POSITION WILL BE FILLED AS A FULL-TIME JOB APPOINTMENT FOR A LIMITED DURATION NOT TO EXCEED FOUR YEARS. Minimum Qualifications Three years of experience in administrative services, housing management, real estate, or social services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Managing applicant intake, eligibility determination, and annual/interim recertification. + Operating and maintaining the Housing Choice Voucher waiting list, including updates, purges, and applicant notifications. + Ensuring compliance with HUD rules on selection, preference categories, and reasonable accommodations. + Coordinating with landlords, tenants, and internal departments to resolve issues and support successful housing outcomes. + Maintaining accurate records, files, and data entry in housing management systems.
