The Housing Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating support services to participants in the housing program. The main duties include assessments, resource supports, service planning and monitoring supports for the participants.

Housing Coordinator Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a Social Service related field is preferred however; applicable experience with housing programs will be considered in lieu of a degree. 2+ years' experience and knowledge working with the homeless population is preferred. Valid Driver's License and access to reliable transportation. This position must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed. Solid computer skills including experience with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and the Allegheny County HMIS. Presentation skills and a professional manner along with the ability to interact with a diverse group of applicants and landlords are also required. Excellent written and verbal skills. Self-directed, flexible with strong problem-solving abilities. Support the organization's mission along with sensitivity of cultural and workplace harmony.
