The Inn has 217 rooms and suites, from the historic Main Inn to dozens of cottage-style buildings with flower-lined brick walkways and breathtaking views. Overview The Housing Coordinator is responsible for managing rent payments, collections, and delinquent accounts while assisting tenants with basic rent/lease-related concerns. This role requires proficiency in rent payment systems, strong computer skills, and excellent customer service abilities to ensure smooth housing operations and tenant satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Process in-person rent payments as needed and maintain accurate financial records. Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts, initiating collection efforts as needed. Assist tenants with rent-related issues, providing guidance and resolving concerns. Assist tenants with signing into Buildium app., the rent payment system. Utilize rent payment and property management software to track payments, generate reports, and update records. Ensure compliance with housing policies, lease agreements, and applicable regulations. Communicate effectively with tenants, landlords, and property management teams. Assist with security deposit refunds at end of season and other administrative tasks. Maintain organized documentation and prepare reports on rent collections and housing trends. Collaborate with other departments to support housing-related initiatives. Provide assistance in the Accounting and Human Resources departments as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred). Experience in property management, rent collections, or housing administration is not required but helpful. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive tenant situations with professionalism and empathy. Basic math skills. This position is considered full time extended seasonal status.
