Job Title: Housing Compliance Coordinator
Location: Barnegat, New Jersey
Type: Contract To Permanent Opportunity
Compensation: $20.00/hr.
Contractor Work Model: Onsite (Occasional travel is involved)
Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday
Housing Compliance Coordinator Job Duties:
Interview residents to collect documents and check if they qualify for affordable housing programs
Complete eligibility paperwork following LIHTC, HUD, and other rules
Get income, asset, and other needed details verified by third parties
Calculate household income using HUD and other guidelines
Make sure all paperwork is complete, accurate, and ready for audits
Work with property staff to help with applications and renewals
Keep resident information private and secure
Stay up to date on housing rules and compliance changes
Help prepare for audits and respond to any issues found
Do other related tasks as needed
Housing Compliance Coordinator Job Requirements:
State housing rules
IRS rules for LIHTC
HUD Handbook 4350.3
Very organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Good at analyzing information
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
Able to manage time well, work on your own, and handle multiple tasks
Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Google tools, and doing online research
Willing to travel occasionally within New Jersey (transportation or mileage covered)
