**Description:** **We are looking for an Housekeeping Supervisor to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.** Expected to open in Q3 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital – and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the center of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon. We are looking for a talented and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon. **Responsibilities:** + **Supervise Housekeeping Staff:** Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance. + **Inspection:** Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met. + **Training:** Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and hotel policies. + **Inventory Management:** Manage housekeeping inventory, including linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment. + **Guest Relations:** Address guest complaints and resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly. + **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper handling of chemicals. + **Collaboration:** Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations and guest satisfaction. + **Pre-Opening Tasks:** Assist in setting up housekeeping systems and processes, training staff, and ensuring readiness for hotel opening. **Qualifications:** **Qualifications:** + Previous housekeeping experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role. + Strong organizational and leadership skills. + Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
