Housekeeper Supervisor

At The Wildbirch Hotel, under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, the Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the work of the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the hotel are kept clean and tidy. They are responsible for training housekeepers to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay for all our hotel guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and evaluating the efficiency of all housekeeping staff while conducting inspections of rooms ensuring timely completion of the following tasks:

Overseeing housekeeping staff and assessing workloads and organizing the following tasks.Cleaning of the guestrooms which includes, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and washing windows/mirrors. Emptying trash and recycling bins. Replacing towels and restocking guest room amenities (e.g., toiletries, beverages, snacks). Check carts and assist in stocking as needed. Assist in laundry as needed which includes stripping, folding, washing, and delivering linens Inspect guestrooms once cleaned to ensure all brand standards are in place and ensure the room is properly set and clean before the guest arrives. Check common areas to ensure order and cleanliness Report maintenance deficiencies.

Ensuring excellent Customer Service by maintaining high cleanliness standards by:

Greeting all guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement Responding to guest inquiries and requests. Providing information about hotel services and amenities. Maintaining a positive and helpful attitude. Assist room attendants with cleaning and stripping of guestrooms Respond quickly and efficiently to special requests by guests Ensuring the safety and security of guest rooms. Effectively communicate with the front desk staff when rooms have been inspected

Other Duties:

Assist Housekeeping Manager with monthly inventories Breakout boards from our property management system to disperse fair and equal guestrooms for room attendants. Following hotel procedures and guidelines. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Maintaining security of keys, equipment, and supplies while providing excellent customer service. Communicate shift pass down information to incoming staff and supervisor Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Skills:

Ability to lift, carry, and climb. Manual dexterity and ability to use hand and cleaning tools.

Education and Experience:

Relevant experience in housekeeping or cleaning service work. Great communication skills and customer service skills Experience with Hyatt Systems (BOB & Opera) highly preferred Posted June 17, 2025
