Housekeeping Supervisor

What will be my role?

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will take on a dual role supporting both the Housekeeping Department and the Front Desk area, ensuring excellence in the hotel’s daily operations. You will be responsible for coordinating key operational tasks that directly impact the guest experience, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and hospitality.

Specifically, as a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, you will perform the following tasks:

\n\n\n

Allocate daily tasks to the housekeeping team, ensuring proper floor and shift coverage

\n\n\n

Conduct routine inspections of check-out rooms and spot-check occupied rooms

\n\n\n

Report and follow up on any maintenance issues or other concerns found in guest rooms

\n\n\n

Routinely inspect service areas, storage rooms, and corridors to ensure order and functionality

\n\n\n

Schedule and monitor special projects, such as deep cleaning initiatives

\n\n\n

Train and support Room Attendants and new team members in operational procedures

\n\n\n

Efficiently manage supply stock and the maintenance of cleaning equipment

\n\n\n

Provide personalized attention to guests, including VIPs and those with special requests

\n\n\n

Front Desk–related tasks:

\n\n\n

Assist with check-in and check-out processes during peak times or in the absence of Front Desk staff

\n\n\n

Support guests with general inquiries, requests, or complaints, escalating as needed

\n\n\n

Coordinate room cleaning priorities with Housekeeping based on early arrivals or late departures

\n\n\n

Handle internal and external guest requests via phone or radio, ensuring prompt response times

\n\n\n

Assist in preparing room assignments and updating room status in the system

\n\n\n

Foster smooth communication between departments to ensure efficient operations and a seamless guest experience

\n\n\n

Ensure compliance with brand standards and service protocols in every guest interaction

\n\n

Housekeeping Floor Supervisors at Hilton brand hotels act on behalf of our Guests and collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience. This position also includes the operational supervision of the Front Desk area, so we are looking for a versatile profile with a strong sense of service and leadership in both areas. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following attitude, behaviors, skills, and values:

Previous experience in a supervisory role in Housekeeping and/or Front Desk

\n\n\n

A proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams

\n\n\n

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

\n\n\n

Attention to detail and commitment to brand standards

\n\n\n

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to handle guest interactions

\n\n\n

A passion for delivering exceptional service, both in-room and through direct guest contact

\n\n\n

Proficiency in hotel systems and computer programs, including Microsoft Office, is preferred
