The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Housekeeping Department by ensuring the guest rooms, public spaces, and heart of house areas are clean and well maintained to the standards set by Hilton Toronto and with a focus on guest satisfaction and team member engagement.
\n\nWhat will you be doing?
\nAs a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nAllocate work duties to Team Members
\n\n\nPerform routine inspections of all check-out rooms and spot checks of all occupied rooms
\n\n\nReport and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues
\n\n\nRoutinely inspect service areas, store rooms, and corridors
\n\nManage and train Room Attendants and other Team Members to ensure their performance is to the standards required\n\nManage efficiently the stock control and the maintenance of equipment
\n\n\nProvide excellent guest service, including VIP and other special requirements
\n\n\nEnsure the adherence to hotel brand standards at all times
\n\nWhat are we looking for?
\nHousekeeping Supervisors serving Hilton Brand hotels are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
\n\n\nPrevious experience in a Housekeeping supervisory role, ideally in a unionized environment
\n\nFlexibility in working morning, afternoon, weekend, and public holiday shifts\nA successful track record of managing a team\n\nStrong organizational and communication skills
\n\n\nKeen attention to detail and ability to analyze information
\n\n\nStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
\n\n\nA passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
\n\n\nProficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
\n\n\n
