Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time or part-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will supervise housekeeping team members and ensure cleanliness of the facility to maintain our culture of high standards and enhance the guest experience.

What will you do?Hire and manage all room, house, and public area team members; provide training to team members on a regular basis; identify areas of improvement and efficiencyEnsure stay-over and vacant attendant service is consistently performed by room attendantsInspect all assigned guest rooms to ensure quality and safety standards are metDemonstrate proper use of cleaning chemicals for designated surfacesHandle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements

More about youMinimum of six months of housekeeping experience at a resort or hotelEffective verbal and written communication skillsNo college degree required

Physical requirementsFrequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing dutiesOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVisual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
