Housekeeping Laundry Attendant
Compensation: Starting at $24.00 per hour, Full-Time

Laundry Attendant – TOOR Hotel, Toronto

Position Summary: At TOOR Hotel, Toronto's newest luxury hotel, we pride ourselves on delivering an elevated guest experience, and that starts with every detail — including crisp linens and fresh towels. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests feel the luxury and comfort from the very first touch. You will be responsible for the cleaning, processing, and distribution of hotel linens and guest laundry according to high brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, and guest laundry with care and efficiency.

Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and according to training provided.

Inspect all linens and uniforms for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.

Properly handle stained or damaged items according to hotel procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, storage closets, and surrounding areas.

Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Complete daily production records and inventory as required.

Assist with delivery and pick-up of laundry items to and from guest rooms and other hotel departments.

Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for laundry services, ensuring satisfaction.

Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and other hotel departments to meet daily operational needs.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Management Team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or similar environment preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Must be physically able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout shift.

Must speak and understand the English language.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality.

Candidates must currently reside in Canada with current legal working rights.  

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced environment in a luxury downtown hotel setting.

Exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals.

Frequent bending, lifting, and moving of laundry carts and equipment.
