**Additional Information** **Job Number** 25126209 **Job Category** Management Development Programs/Interns **Location** Bvlgari Hotel Milano, Via Privata Fratelli Gabba 7b, Milan, Italy, Italy, 20121VIEW ON MAP (https://www.google.com/maps?q=Bvlgari%20Hotel%20Milano%2C%20Via%20Privata%20Fratelli%20Gabba%207b%2C%20Milan%2C%20Italy%2C%20Italy%2C%2020121) **Schedule** Full Time **Located Remotely?** N **Position Type** Non-Management **PURPOSE / SCOPE:** To support the daily operations of the Housekeeping department in a smooth and efficient way, always focusing on ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, and adhering to the standards required by the hotel and assist in the planning process; while controlling simultaneously the stock and expenses within the Rooms Division. **MAIN DUTIES:** + Always provides courteous and professional service; which allows them to participate in creating exceptional experiences for all our guests a patrons. + Provides constant monitoring of the service and cleaning standards of the housekeeping attendants throughout the hotel. + Possesses a strong understanding and awareness of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute/ impact to the department objectives. + Liaises with engineering to ensure all the hotel areas are always well maintained, and in good order; coordinating repairs as required and in timely basis. + Keep a strong and clear communication with all the different departments in the hotel to ensure a prompt delivery of guest requests in the most appropriate way according to our brand standards. + Follow all safety and security property policies. + Take full ownership of the different situations and challenges that arise during the assigned shifts. **ADMINISTRATION:** + Supports and assists to maintain an updated record of all the ongoing and completed special projects that concern the housekeeping department, such: Deep cleaning of the rooms and suites, window cleaning around the hotel, carpet shampooing, changes to lay out, etc. + Ensure to provide and update any information concerning the operations and keep record of any relevant details in the HANDOVER file. **OPERATIONAL:** + Conducts inspections of hotel entrance and outdoor areas, corridors, public areas spaces, back of house and rooms to ensure the highest cleanliness standards are delivered across the hotel. + Ensures that all hotel assets and equipment are well maintained and handled appropriately. + Handles guest complaints following a ‘first person resolution’ practice and reports all complaints to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping. + Possesses a strong sense of follow up for all guest requests and operation related matters. + Actively promotes awareness of all guests’ preferences and requirements throughout the hotel, and her home department. FINANCIAL: + Keeps a strong understanding and awareness of cost saving practices to ensure expenses are under control. + Responsible to organize and conduct monthly linen inventory along with the laundry team. + Conducts weekly checks of the PAR stock for all guest supplies required for the daily operations. + Conducts daily inventories and PAR stock checks when overseeing the minibar operations. + Participates in the ordering and requisition process, supporting the Housekeeping Supervisors and coordinators to ensure the PAR stock is always up to standard and in line with the requirements based on operational needs. + Controls the usage of guest amenities, cleaning chemicals, cleaning tools and equipment; and linen ensuring that there is no misuse or wastage. OTHER DUTIES: + Assists the Assistant Director of Housekeeping in preparing monthly schedules and monitoring special time off requests and attendance trackers to ensure the payroll is completed correctly at the end of each month. + Participates in Quality inspections such LQA visits, and assists in conducting spot checks to evaluate the performance of the room attendants. + Participates in daily line ups. + Supports in trainings as required.
