Housekeeping Attendant (Hilton Singapore Orchard)

The Housekeeping Attendant, you will be performing a combination tasks according to a daily job assignment either Rooms or Runner, keeping room floors including pantry clean and amenities well stocked up at all times during a shift.

What will I be doing?

\n

As the Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nComplete and ensure all work done in assigned areas are to the highest cleanliness standards and in adherence to Hilton policies and procedures.\nEnsure that guests' privacies are protected during service.\nOffer all possible assistance to guests and respond to guests’ requests.\nClean and replenish supplies for guestrooms according to standards and procedures.\nDoes turndown service when required.\nEnsure master keys are kept secure at all times.\nKeep trolleys neat and adequately supplied.\nMaintain all equipment in good working condition.\nMaintain cleanliness on guest corridor and floor pantry.\nKeep linen room neat and in good order.\nReport any loss or damage of linen, furniture, fixture or equipment and maintenance deficiencies to the Housekeeping Supervisor.\nBe courteous and professional at all times, delivering high quality service to guests.\nMaintain good working relationships with team members and all other departments.\nReport maintenance issues promptly to the Engineering team.\nEnsure compliance of lost and found procedures.\nUnderstand basic knowledge of hotel operating systems, to be able to perform daily tasks, assist guest inquiries and take appropriate action to offer first resolution of guests’ complaints.\nPromote the hotel and Hilton products and services.\nMaintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests.\nReplenish the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on a daily basis for all housekeeping storage area\nTransports clean linens to the housekeeping storage area on the floors and refill the par stock of linens on each floor.\nEnsure that there is sufficient quantity of guest supply for Housekeeping Attendant during operation.\nPerform an inventory check on guest supplies.\nDeliver and set up amenities according to guest request in a timely manner.\nCarry out a special project as directed and assigned.\nAdhere by the hotel’s policies and procedures, Hilton code of business conduct, the hotel’s team member handbook.\nCarry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n

A Housekeeping Attendant, serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

\n\n\n\tHigh school graduate and attended skills training school.\n\tMinimum of 1 year of experience in the Housekeeping, similar capacity with international chain hotels.\n\tEnglish literate to meet business needs.\n\tGood knowledge of housekeeping’s daily operations on guest floors\n\tFlexible with working hours, able to work morning/ evening shifts, weekends and public holidays.\n\tGood knowledge of chemical usage and cleaning rooms.\n\n\n
