Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeper, supporting the housekeeping department at a large hospital facility in Washington, DC. You will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and providing exceptional customer service within the hospital environment during the 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
ResponsibilitiesProvide cleaning support to various areas including hallways, bathrooms, offices, discharge rooms, and common areas.Change linens, dust, sanitize, sweep, mop, and pull trash as part of daily duties.Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients.Maintain flexibility to assist the team with any required tasks.Adhere to cleaning and sanitizing protocols to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.Essential Skills1+ years of housekeeping experience.Strong customer service skills.Excellent communication abilities for effective interaction with co-workers.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Experience in janitorial or environmental services.Additional Skills & QualificationsFloor technician experience is preferred but not necessary.Why Work Here?
This is a contract-to-hire position offering the opportunity to become a permanent employee with the hospital. You will be part of a supportive team where good attendance, performance, and attitude are recognized and rewarded.
Work Environment
The position operates in a fast-paced hospital environment where you will have 30-45 minutes to clean each room with specific goals for hallways. Expect to work every other weekend off. Be prepared for situations and smells typical of a hospital setting. No specific licenses or certifications are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
