Job Description
Join the housekeeping department at a large hospital facility in Washington, DC, where you will provide vital cleaning support throughout the hospital. Working from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, you will contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of hallways, bathrooms, offices, discharge rooms, and common areas. This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the housekeeping department in maintaining hospital cleanliness.Clean hallways, bathrooms, offices, discharge rooms, and common areas.Change linens, dust, sanitize, sweep, mop, and pull trash.Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff and visitors.Adapt to various tasks as needed to support the team.Essential Skills1+ years of housekeeping experience.Customer service experience.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsFloor technician experience preferred but not necessary.A good cultural fit with the department.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a hospital setting with off days every other weekend. Be prepared for situations and smells typical to a hospital environment. The fast-paced work setting requires cleaning each room within 30-45 minutes and meeting hallway cleanliness goals. No DOT, license, or certifications are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
