Housekeeper (Yukon Flats Project)
Overview Housekeeper The Yukon Flats Project is recruiting for its seasonal exploration program in Birch Creek, Alaska, running between June and October. The Housekeeper position completes a wide variety of cleaning duties in a remote environment to maintain sanitary, quality living conditions. Responsibilities not limited to living and dining areas as well as bathrooms and showers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure camp cleanliness by a combination of cleaning methods, not limited to: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting. Changing linens, distributing towels, washing and folding laundry. Restocking rooms and common areas with appropriate items. Collect garbage in assigned work areas and dispose of it as directed by Supervisor to maintain sanitary space and not attract animals. Monitor stock levels, restock supplies, and ensure adequate inventory for service. Assist Camp Supervisor with duties that may include: Minor repairs/maintenance such as changing light bulbs or cleaning lint traps Snow removal from common areas MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
