Job Title: Housekeeper – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $18/hr+ DOE
Hours: 9am-4pm Various Days 
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking two Housekeepers for a temporary position with our client located in Orono, Maine. The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms and facilities are clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Success in this position means maintaining high cleanliness standards, meeting deadlines, and contributing to a positive guest experience. 

As a Housekeeper, you will:

Make beds and change linens

Vacuum floors and carpets

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors

Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens

Dust and wipe down furniture and surfaces

Restock room supplies as needed

Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness and safety standards

The ideal candidate will have:

Prior housekeeping experience (preferred; if not, candidate may be assigned to laundry duties only)

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and kneeling for the duration of the shift

Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness

Strong time management skills to complete tasks within shift hours

A positive, cooperative attitude and the ability to work independently
