This individual must be a flexible team player willing and able to use their skills at the Assisted Living Facility as well. Duties May Include the Following For Housekeeping: + Cleans and restocks resident rooms + Cleans and disinfects all public areas, including carpets, handrails, doors, windows, trash cans, and light fixtures + Cleans bathrooms. + Gathers trash. + Determines appropriate chemical solutions for cleaning and disinfection. + Assists with laundry services, including sorting, drying, and distributing. + Assure cottages have a supply of clean linens, cleaning supplies, and trash bags. + Assists with scheduled, comprehensive cleaning of dining room area Qualifications PREFERENCES: Preference may be given to applicants who have a minimum of 6 months of long-term care experience. KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of cleaning methods and practices. + Knowledge of cleansers, supplies, and equipment. + Knowledge of basic math. + Knowledge of state and facility policies and procedures. + Knowledge of universal precautions. + Knowledge of emergency procedures, cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. + Knowledge of infection control standards. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma Experience: 0-6 months of progressive work experience (typically in Housekeeping) OR Education & Experience Substitution: 1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Housekeeping) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
