**House Person, The American Club** _Work Mode: Onsite_ **Location: ** Kohler, WI **Opportunity** Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.Identifyand report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks tomaintainguestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** + Dusts and polishes metalwork. + Collects soiled linen for laundering. + Maintains housekeeping carts. + Removes trash collected byRoomAttendants. + Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect newspapers, trash, soiledlinen. + Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floorcloset. + Deliver towels, cribs,cotsand other items to the guest rooms onrequests. + Perform duties ofRoomAttendant when necessary. + Sort linen, stock room, andattendant closets. + Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floorcloset. + Help theRoom Attendantswith the heavy liftingas needed. + Clean all hotel guest corridors while following department standard operating procedures. + AssistRoom Attendantswith placing bed boards, roll-ways beds, extra bed etc. + Report missing / found articles,damageor merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors. + Respond at all timesin a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues. + Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed. + Adhere to uniform and grooming standards as assigned by venue. + Use radio to relay info **Skills/Requirements** + High School Diploma is preferred but notrequired. + Prior hotel/lodging experience is preferred butnotrequired(level I). + Candidate must speak, write, and/or understand English preferred but notrequired. + Must be detail oriented. **_Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future._** _The hourly range for this position is $17.00.
