ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.
Supervise the Front Desk, Concierge, and other key service areas to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and development to support service excellence.
Assist with team scheduling, shift coverage, and resource allocation to meet business needs and budget goals.
Deliver pre-shift and departmental meetings to align and energize the team.
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new hotel team members.
Promote a positive, engaging team culture through employee recognition and development programs.
Collaborate with marketing on promotions and service awareness initiatives.
Conduct regular inspections of hotel spaces to ensure maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards are met.
Ensure strict compliance with all operational, health, safety, and service policies and regulations.
Maintain accurate hotel reports and records, including occupancy and inventory data.
Manage room reservations and assist in inventory controls.
Partner with leadership on budgeting and revenue goals.
Act as a key ambassador of the Jamul Casino Resort brand and uphold all service standards including Forbes and AAA guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONSMust be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
3+ years of hospitality experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
Experience in hotel openings, expansions, or luxury environments preferred.
Familiarity with hotel systems such as Infor HMS, Duetto, Agilysys, and HotSOS preferred.
Must have strong communication and guest service skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) strongly preferred.
Must be available to work weekends, nights, holidays, and other shifts as business demands.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed).
Experience with Forbes or AAA service standards highly desirable.
