A Hotel Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all hotel operations to deliver an exceptional guest and team member experience, while ensuring that financial, operational, and service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
\n\nWhat will I be doing?
\nAs a Hotel Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of the hotel’s operations, from financial performance to guest satisfaction and team leadership. You will also be expected to ensure compliance with company policies and standards, and drive initiatives that support the strategic vision of the property. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nLead all hotel operations including, but not limited to, hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, service excellence initiatives, and performance management.
\n\n\nImplement and ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards, and procedures.
\n\n\nRespond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns.
\n\n\nParticipate in and facilitate hotel-wide meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
\n\n\nDirect and oversee large-scale projects such as renovations, infrastructure upgrades, contract transitions, capital improvements, and brand alignment updates.
\n\n\nDevelop realistic and measurable hotel budgets along with short and long-term strategic goals.
\n\n\nProvide effective leadership to the hotel management team and all team members, ensuring revenue goals are met or exceeded while maintaining a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
\n\n\nMonitor and control operational costs across all departments and regularly analyze results to identify challenges and implement solutions.
\n\n\nRespond effectively to internal and external audits and ensure continuous operational improvement.
\n\n\nPlan, coordinate, and oversee the service delivery of all operational departments to meet and exceed guest expectations.
\n\n\nLead the team in developing and adopting innovative strategies for enhancing customer service and guest engagement.
\n\n\nEnsure the hotel and all departments consistently exceed company service standards.
\n\n\nManage and develop Heads of Department (HODs) to support career growth and succession planning across the hotel and the wider company.
\n\n\nPromote open communication and teamwork across departments.
\n\n\nActively seek guest feedback and respond appropriately to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
\n\n\nFoster and grow strong relationships with neighboring hotels and community stakeholders.
\n\n\nInspire positivity and a genuine passion for hospitality across all levels of the hotel team
