Hotel Analyst, Performance & Strategies
**Description:** **Hyatt Regency DFW** , located at Terminal C of the DFW Airport, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented hotel leader to join our team in a strategic role that blends financial oversight, data-driven decision-making, and organizational development. This position is instrumental in supporting key operational functions and driving performance across multiple areas of the business. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for continuous improvement. This role is responsible for managing billing and contract processes, supporting accounts receivable operations, and contributing to productivity initiatives. It also plays a pivotal role in leading Hyatt’s Ways of Working (WoW) efforts, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable progress across hotel teams. A significant portion of the role is dedicated to data analysis—developing and presenting monthly performance reports, identifying trends and opportunities, and tracking key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making. **_This position reports jointly to the General Manager and the Director of Finance, ensuring alignment between operational execution and financial strategy. It is an on-site role and will be classified as a non-exempt managerial position, based on a 45-hour workweek._** **Key Responsibilities:** **_Data Analysis (60%)_** + **Division Reporting Analysis:** Evaluate reporting tools across each division to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. + **Monthly Data Deck Management** : Build and present the monthly data deck; lead Data Deep Dive sessions with divisional leaders to drive actionable outcomes. + **Leadership Communication** : Partner with the respective Learning Coach (LC) to celebrate successes and address areas for growth. + **KPI Monitoring:** Track monthly tactics and commitments aimed at improving key performance indicators (KPIs). + **Issue Tracking** : Identify and monitor the top issues each month, along with the corresponding tactics and progress toward resolution. **_Hyatt Ways of Working (20%)_** + **Accountability Partner** : Oversee the workflow of Hyatt Ways of Working initiatives across the hotel. This includes managing deadlines, supporting Pod execution, and ensuring that solutions addressing hotel concerns are effectively implemented. Drive momentum and foster behavioral change through consistent follow-up and engagement. + **Support the ALC(Assistant Leadership Committee):** to help create goals, tactics and results as it relates to Hyatt WoW. **_Finance Support (20%)_** + **Billing Oversight:** Manage all billing activities for our top account, American Airlines, including services provided to AA Crew. + **Accounts Receivable Support** : Collaborate with hotel teams to support Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring alignment with the Shared Services model that manages AR operations. + **Contract Management:** Complete the audit of group sales contracts to ensure full compliance with contractual terms and maintain accurate, consistent billing across all agreements. + **Productivity Initiatives** : Assist with productivity-related projects as needed. While the ADOF leads the overall productivity process, this role provides support through due diligence and discovery efforts to proactively identify and resolve operational roadblocks. + Assist in any projects or communications for Hyatt WoW. + Support PODS and hotel outcomes. + Maintain measurement tool to validate efforts of Hyatt WoW. **Qualifications:** + 2 years of progressive hotel operations experience + Strong leadership and organizational skills + Excellent communication and presentation abilities + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite + Ability to manage data and lead through change **About Hyatt:** **_Care connects us._** Join a team that is making travel more human.
