*Reporting to the Mine Supervisor and/or Mine Dispatchers you will be part of the Mine Operations Department. You will be responsible for assisting in leading a team of skilled and dedicated mine operators in the safe, efficient and cost-effective extraction of ore and movement of waste rock. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Ensure the safety of the team by applying a zero-harm approach to all tasks performed Assist the Mine Supervisor and Dispatcher to optimize production in accordance with the mine plan, organize, lead and control resources to minimize delays and standby time on the haulage and loading fleet Coordinate the movement of material to meet the mine plan Communicate the production information and changes to the Mine Supervisor, Technical Services, Mine Maintenance and the Process Plant to minimize production delays Communicate with the mine operators to ensure that equipment delays are accurately recorded Promote a climate of trust and participation *
