Maintain portfolio profitability through risk analysis and recommendations. -Negotiate policy terms and rates with clients. Foster positive relationships with brokers and promote business development. -Ensure proper file documentation and technical knowledge development. Support team innovation and collaboration. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field One or more of the following designations: Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), Canadian Risk Management (CRM) 7+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience 1+ years of Hospitality-specific commercial underwriting (Underwriting for liquor licensed restaurants, bars, food trucks, etc.). 3+ years of underwriting management experience (leading direct reports). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
