Hospitality Controller - Solon, OH (Full-Time)

Are you a finance professional with a passion for hospitality? We're looking for an experienced Hospitality Controller to join a growing hospitality management firm based in Northeast Ohio. With a portfolio of branded hotels across multiple states, this is a unique opportunity to bring your accounting expertise into a dynamic, people-driven industry.

What You'll Do:
You'll oversee the financial performance of a portfolio of hospitality assets-managing general ledger activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Your leadership will help shape strategic decision-making across departments and properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead accounting and collaborate with operations to ensure financial accuracyPrepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and reportsOversee reconciliations, revenue recognition, and expense trackingSupport budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and lender communicationsEnsure compliance through tax filing, controls, and process improvementsDrive system implementations and financial automation initiatives

What We're Looking For:

4+ years of accounting experience (hospitality industry required)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred)Strong knowledge of USALI, GAAP, and hospitality-specific systems (e.g., Inn-Flow, M3)Proven ability to lead SOP development and system rollouts for multi-property portfoliosAdvanced Excel skills and sharp analytical thinking
