Hospital Specialist Representative - QLD North
The Position

Reporting to the District Sales Manager, an exciting permanent opportunity has become available within our Hospital Specialist team. This role is ideal for a high-performing GP Representative looking to take the next step, or an experienced Hospital Specialist seeking a new challenge.

You will be responsible for managing your own territory, which includes public hospitals and private clinics. Your key stakeholders will include Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, Nephrologists, Nurse Practitioners, Diabetes Nurse Educators, and Pharmacists.

This position was previously filled on a contract basis due to an internal secondment and is now being offered as a permanent role.

Territory Coverage:
Caboolture, Sunshine Coast, and regional areas including Bundaberg and Hervey Bay.

Tasks & ResponsibilitiesExceed sales targets for promoted products through unit growth over previous year and market share acquisitionIdentify and effectively target key customersExceed required proportion of targeted customers accessedAchieve standard of infield days per annumAchieve coverage and frequency expectationAchieve inclusion of BI products in hospital protocolsCo-ordinate and manage functions designed to add value to customers, including in-service programs, journal clubs, case conferencesActively support GP Representatives by preparing and planning for GP educations sessions and other functionsAllocate budget in cost effective ways to maximize salesAchieve standard of technical & professional knowledgeWork effectively in territory team, contributing to team successDevelop selling skills with customers, building credible and trusting relationshipsAchieve development plan through active learning, working towards next applicable Advance standardRequirementsPharmaceutical experience desirableTransferrable skills from other roles involving working in Hospitals and interacting with SpecialistsProven track record of sales success in past roles highly valued if no past HSR experienceHigh level of technical and professional skill in work-related areasHigh level of proficiency in selling skillsProficient in territory managementStrong influencing and negotiation and persuasion skillsConfident and effective customer networking skills in the hospital environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholdersProven ability to manage competing business priorities and problem solveAbility to monitor own performance and communicate through electronic meansWhat we offer
