Overview We are seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician III , also referred to as a Plant Operations Technician III or Boiler Operator III . The Hospital Maintenance Tech III is responsible for a dvanced maintenance and repairs on hospital systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment to ensure a safe and operational healthcare environment. This role also supports emergency response, preventive maintenance, and facility projects while coordinating with staff and contractors to minimize disruption to patient care. Shift’s Available: Days Employment Type : Full Time Hours: 8-hour shifts – 7 :00 a m to 3 : 3 0 p m (Wednesday to Sunday) Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center - Mesquite, TX Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: + Health, dental, and vision insurance options + Paid vacation, sick time and holidays + Bereavement leave , FMLA and other leave options + Employer 401K options + Tuition reimbursement options + Life, disability, and other insurance options + Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): + Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, medical gas, and other systems + Quickly respond to emergency repair requests, such as system malfunctions or equipment breakdowns, to restore hospital operations without compromising patient care + Regularly inspect and test critical hospital safety systems such as backup generators, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and life safety equipment to ensure they are functional and compliant with safety standards + Preventative Maintenanc e, dur ing regular inspections and checks to prevent breakdowns, like lubricating motors, testing generators, or checking emergency lighting + Assist with hospital renovation and construction projects; coordinate work with contractors as needed + Will support offsite locations Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers . You must have:  1. Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred 2. Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints. 3. Valid state driver’s license. 4. Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc) 5.
