You will support Vitalant’s life-saving mission by managing the inventory of blood and blood products and facilitate the packaging and shipment to local hospitals and patients. As a Hospital Distribution Technician you’ll get to: 

Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy. Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability. Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees. Attention to detail is a must.Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas. Professionally and safely deliver products (only when needed - primarily this is NOT a driving role) to Vitalant customers (hospitals) in company vehicle. High School diploma or GED required Valid in-state driver's license Six months of customer service experience required Prior inventory management experience requiredPrior healthcare industry experience preferred Able to lift 40lbs
