Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Full Time (Monday through Friday, DAY shift)

Methuen/Lawrence/Lowell area

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program and a competency evaluation program

Ability to travel locally (50% travel required)

Physical ability to lift, bend, and assist patients (must be able to lift 50–100 lbs)

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

What You’ll Do:

As a Hospice C.N.A., you’ll provide essential support in the home setting, guided by a registered nurse and an individualized care plan. You will:

Follow the established Plan of Care prior to each visit and deliver care under the direction of the RN and physician

Provide safe, compassionate care to patients, while educating and supporting caregivers when appropriate

Observe and report changes in condition, environment, or safety to the RN Case Manager or clinical supervisor

Promote patient safety and comfort while assisting with daily living tasks and mobility

Support patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques when possible

Offer emotional support to patients and families

Help reduce avoidable hospitalizations by observing warning signs and taking early action

Maintain accurate documentation and update medication records as directed

Communicate clearly and respectfully with families, care teams, physicians, and fellow staff
