Key Responsibilities: 

Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targetsPlan and conduct customer’s visits (Asia) for potential and existing customersOnsite technical support and problem solving related to Linatex hose productIdentify and develop new opportunities in current and prospective accountsExternal negotiation to win orders and businessConvince external parties who are skeptical or unwilling to accept new concepts or approachesDevelop strong relationships with key customers to ensure expectations are being met and remedial action taken to address issuesUse of Sales Force to capture sales opportunitiesReview customer specifications and develop complete technical and commercial proposalsEnsure aftermarket personnel are adequately trained in the Linatex hose range of products and receive technical support as requiredOperate as a fully functioning member of the OE Sales Team actively contributing whenever necessary in addressing cross functional business issuesLean Enterprise: to drive improvement throughout the business to provide value to the customer through the elimination of waste.People: to engage Weir People to perform to the best of their ability for the customer and shareholder results and an environment where people want to work.


 
 Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in mechanical, chemical, process engineering, or equivalent.Prior experience in a sales or business development type position.Experience with hose/piping products and/or minerals processing plant environment is desirableProven ability to identify opportunities, formulate strategies, and achieve results.Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.Experience with Salesforce is highly desirableTravelling: Frequent and at short notice, both interstate and international.
