Job Summary: On Behalf of Hook-up Superintendent and when required, organize, coordinate and control the execution of the Hook-up activities, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, ensuring a proper coordination between disciplines supervisors and Hook-up engineering, overseeing the availability of project materials, equipment and tools, verifying that works are carried out in accordance with project documentation, schedule, safety and quality standards and procedures. Represent Hook-up Superintendent on construction daily meetings with Client.
Key Responsibilities: Report to the Hook-up Superintendent. Assist the Hook-up Superintendent with regard to interdisciplinary coordination of all works on green and brown field works. Supervise the team of foremen and supervisors, with regard to the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work, in order to comply with the quality and safety standard. Coordinate the construction activities during the shift and manage the SIMOPS with other contractors and/or plant operations. Ensure that the Hook-up Superintendent is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status in conjunction with commissioning superintendent, plan and monitor vendors or any specialists activities at site. Solve matters related to coordination, priority and interface among the different disciplines in order to meet the scopes of the project. Ensure that the Permit-to-Work system for construction crew is adhered to and ensure that the daily Toolbox Talks and JSA, if required, are carried out according to the procedures.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements: Offshore Hook-Up Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in a similar role. Employment Verification: A reference letter from a previous employer is required. Candidates must possess valid BOSIET and H2S Training certifications. Copies of certificates must be provided. Permit to Work (PTW): A scanned copy of a valid Permit to Work (PTW) certificate must be provided. Candidates must have a minimum English proficiency level of B2.
