Summary Performs warranty work on sold homes per the service work order by performing the following duties. Must have general knowledge of home maintenance.\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n
\n\nPeriodic over night travel required.\nInstalls new parts or repairs problem as per work order.\nMaintains log book as per Department of Transportation.\nMaintain company vehicle, which includes keeping vehicle clean, stocked and serviced \nPick up parts from factory as needed.\nVerify parts with orders.\nMaintain own work schedule by making appointments with customers.\nComplete work orders along with being responsible for returning the work orders to the factory by mail or personal delivery.\n\n

Qualifications \n\nAbility to troubleshoot, reason and solve problems\nAbility to diagnose and repair common home problems such as:\n\nplumbing\nmolding\ndrywall\ndoor adjustments\nelectrical\nroofing\nsiding\n\n\nAbility to work with tools, interpret instructions\nExcellent communication, both written and verbal\nUnderstand and comply with work safety and policies and procedures\nMust provide valid driver's license and clean driving record\nSome out of state travel required\nSome overnight stays out of town required\nAbility to climb ladders safety\nStrong customer relations\nAbility to move furniture, wall board, doors, etc.\nMaintain professional appearance and demeanor\n\n

Education and\/or Experience \n

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and\/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n
