7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver - Based Acton Gate (Stafford)

Pay Rate: £36,930 based on a 48 hour week (Salary £38,561 basic when trained) plus overtime at time and a half

Shift patterns: 06:00 - Any 5 from 7 shift pattern, will include some weekend working

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nDeliveries include white goods, furniture, electrical appliances - manual handling is required\nWorking with a drivers assistant delivering approx 30 deliveries per day \nBe willing to train to install wet goods (washing machines) and heavy goods (American fridge freezers) - enhances salary upon completion of training\nPossess excellent customer service skills\nDrive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations\nComply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations\n\n

\n\nCandidates MUST hold a valid 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card\nCommercial 'on the road' experience of driving 7.5t (C1) vehicles\nDuties involve manual handling, so candidates must understand the physicaility of the role\nWorking as a team with a drivers assistant\nPass a CRB criminal record check\nLive near to Acton Gate ST18 9AA (Just off Junction 13 M6)\n\n
